Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Tradieprofile when you use Tradieprofile. By creating a page or using the site, you agree to them and to the Tradieprofile rules.

What Tradieprofile is

Tradieprofile is a place for trades to have a page, and for customers to find them. We’re not part of any job: the work, the price and the agreement are between the customer and the trade. We don’t check trades’ qualifications or guarantee their work, so customers should make their own checks before hiring anyone.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over and give accurate details
• Keep your login secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
• You own what you put on your page. You let us show it on Tradieprofile for as long as it’s there.

Paying for Tradieprofile

• Starter costs £15 a month or £150 a year. Pro costs £39 a month or £390 a year. Prices include any VAT due. New accounts get a 30-day free trial, and we take your card when it starts.
• Upgrading to Pro, or moving from monthly to yearly, starts straight away and we charge the difference for the rest of your billing period. Moving to Starter, or from yearly to monthly, starts when the period you’ve paid for ends.
• If you leave Pro, your own domain sends visitors to your Tradieprofile address for 30 days, then disconnects.
• Your plan renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep your page until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• If we change the price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

Card payments from your customers

• Card payments are processed by Stripe. To take them you need a Stripe account, set up through Tradieprofile, and you agree to Stripe’s terms.
• You’re the seller: payments go to your Stripe account, and refunds and disputes are between you and your customer.
• Tradieprofile takes 2% of each payment on Starter and 0% on Pro, at the plan you’re on when the customer pays. Stripe takes its own card fees from your Stripe account separately.
• You refund customers from your Stripe dashboard. Tradieprofile’s fee isn’t returned when you refund a payment, and Stripe’s own refund and dispute rules apply.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the rules. If we close your account without good reason, we’ll refund the unused part of your plan.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Tradieprofile running, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable. We’re not responsible for jobs arranged through Tradieprofile, or for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or our responsibility where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited.

Changes and contact
