Cookie policy

Tradieprofile uses as few cookies as possible, and none for tracking or advertising.

Cookies we use

• tp_session: keeps you logged in. It’s set when you log in, lasts up to 30 days, and is deleted when you log out. The site can’t work for logged-in trades without it.
• __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid: set by Stripe, our payment provider, only on the page where a trade adds their card to start a plan. Stripe uses them to stop fraud, so payments can’t be taken safely without them. They last up to a year and 30 minutes respectively. See Stripe’s cookie policy.

These cookies are strictly necessary for something you’ve asked for (logging in, or paying), so we don’t need to ask for your consent to use them, and we don’t show a cookie banner. If a customer pays a trade by card, that happens on Stripe’s own checkout page, under Stripe’s cookie policy.

Other storage

We count visits to trades’ pages without cookies or any other storage on your device (see the privacy notice). The site’s font is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of the request but doesn’t set cookies on Tradieprofile. We don’t use advertising or tracking tools.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block tp_session, you won’t be able to log in.
